These days, after receiving my payment for this month, theres a difference of almost $150.00 between the "balance" shown at the top of CJ's home page, and the "commission earned" shown on the "quick stats" portion lower on the same page.

Why is that? Why does the "balance" show more money than the "commission earned?

Which one reflects the amount I'll be paid?

The difference is probably extended sales.

Also, the "commissioned earned" amount is
for the month's total thru the previous day
and is updated only once a day -- usually.

To check your extended sales go to "run
reports" change the preselected period to
the previous month, go down to
"Show transactions with status" and select
    "extended" click generate report.

This will show you all of the previous month's
extended sales. If they aren't reversed, they
should show up in your next month's check -- hopefully.
Also, you might want to check for any current
    month extended sales.

To get your "true" total commissions (sometimes
this Does Not Work ... sometimes Nothing adds up
    right)

    Take this month's "commissions earned"
    Add the day's commissions
    Add previous month's extended sales
    Add this month's extended sales
This should equal the total for the "Balance" at top of page
    -- maybe

Most of time I can come within $20 or so..

opps almost forgot to answer your question
"what will I be paid" -- You will be paid
what CJ determines you will be paid --
usually it's the previous month's commissions
earned (minus the reversals) + those extended
sales that finally got approved. But you
won't know until they "approve payment". You can check
the Payment Status a few days before paycheck time.

Wow, Anne, what a thorough reply! Thanks

I did look up the April extensions, but they amount to $100.00, so $50.00 are still unaccounted for I don't have any exensions for March. No sales today, either.

This had happened to me before, but the difference was only $5 or $10, no more. I always wondered, but never took the time to find out.

Now the difference is too big to ignore.
