OMG - I hope this is just a another fluke , but HomeVisions is now on my deactivated advertisers list as of May 28th. This is not good .

    If it's not, it'll cause w*rk!

But fortunately, no damage other than the w*rk--they're also at Performics if they actually stay deactivated.

I'm guessing that by the time I wake up this afternoon, they'll be back...

I know ..Performics and lot's of WORK is the worst case scenario.

But, even that sucks a big one, because you can't build individual product links with HomeVisions at Performics, unless they change that .

I hope this has something to do with that 10% and 15% commission error you guys were talking about , and they aren't leaving CJ at all.

I didn't notice any double commissions , all of mine were at the 10% rate .

I was wondering why my HomeVisions sales were dead this morning.

It must be an other CJ6 bug. They are gone also from the "Review offers pending your approval¨ We had the possibility to add the 15% commission for some items.
How much money is lost because of this upgrade?
I'll like to know who to thank at CJ for that.

I almost fainted when I saw "deactivated" on HomeVisions status.

Fortunately I ran here and saw this posting and it comforted me a bit.

I thought the extra commission reporting was for bonuses in selling their clearance slip covers... I see no indication in my reports that they have been deactivated. I sure hope they are not.

    They are back as "Active"
But their Network Earnings is blank, no square anymore.
    What's up?

been too hasty again... removed their links from some 7 pages took me 15 min at least to make it nice again, joined all competing companies on LS,

only to put the copies with HV links back taking another 3 minutes..

well, maybe the LS merchants will be useful anyway.

Whew ... (We need a "wiping the sweat off your eyebrow guy" Icon )

That was the shortest deactivation span I've seen yet .

40 clicks to HomeVisions stayed in my 'invalid links generating traffic' though, they had been there since the deactivation, even though the report says its about 19-May-2003 and 26-May-2003. (small bug in reporting header CJ!)

I'm glad they are back though.

Shmoogle - You lost money on your 40 clicks, I can evaluate it at $15 with my own stats.
Who's going to pay? May be nobody care.
Now, imagine, you have 40 000 clicks, I'm sure it's roughly what we lost here at ABW. I'm just guessing, but still...
    It's $15,000. Who's going to pay?
    It starts to hurt.
    Now, let us ask CJ...

Well, fair enough to say, I did have one of them 'double' sales, same moment, same sales amount, one time 10%, one time 15%. If they don't reverse
that one, its OK with me;-)

My guess is that HV ended up with two tracking codes on those sale pages. Instead of replacing the 10% code, seems that they just added the 15% code to it. Presto--two "sales" recorded for each click of the buy button, one at 10 and one at 15.

No guesses on the deactivation, though--they seemed to fix it yesterday without going offline...

Um, forgive my ignorance, but what 15% code? That would be SWEET!

HomeVisions' program is now offering 15% commish on certain sales. Currently there's a few on-sale slipcovers that get the extra 5%--I don't know if they're going to offer more products later or not, though.

I think it will automatically go into effect at some point, but to get it coming faster I approved their "offer" right away! (On the front page of CJ, there's that link..."Review offers pending your approval.") It may have automatically started by now, though, and if it did then you won't have to do anything special to get the 15% on the particular items.

Except for amping up the visibility of the higher-paying products, that is...

Somewhere on their detail page is a link to exactly which items pay 15%. The rest still pay 10%.

Doh! I need to look at that 'pending offers page' more often. I forgot about it...

    Thanks!

Awhile back when Homevision CJ links were terribly slow (even timing out), I dropped them cold turkey.

Recently I found them at Performics and decided to give them another chance.

Never had a problem since. A good sale came in today.
