It certainly does make you wonder.
Pity the poor affiliate who contacts LS to say something is wrong with the tracking...guess now we have proof

Someone could have copied your page with affiliates coded links to put on their site. Someone also could have access to the affiliates that are approved by show little or no activity and use them as back doors into scumware programs. They just forgot to remove your ID# tag from some redirects so you got by on some sales. Padding the figures to show more impression/clicks to merchants occurs regularly at BeFree but maybe LS has this one down too. Another obvious sign is your reports show more sales than clicks so the stats forger goofed up the spoofing during the test period.

Hi seaslug44,

I sent you a private message earlier but I am not sure if you got it. I have checked into your claims but there seem to be no records of any overpayment, anyone who remembers talking to you regarding a claim, and our accounting records all match up. In otherwords can you please send me information if you believe that a mistake has really been made. Otherwise absent any real proof or data I have to tell you that you claim seems extremely unfounded at this point.

Best regards,
Stephen
