I have not received any information that we are experiencing a problem with reports, but if you can provide me with specifics of the problem, such as the report you're reviewing, date range, and the nature of the discrepancy (i.e. impressions, clicks, sales), I'll be better able to assist you. Feel free to email me directly at abw@linkshare.com.

    Thanks,
    Sarah

    Hi Gameboy,

Thank you for the additional information. It appears that PassionUp has not sent us sales activity since June 5. We have already been working with the merchant on this issue, and we anticipate it will be resolved shortly.

Additionally, ABC Injets continues to send sales activity regularly. Do you have specific sales activity that has not yet been reflected in your reports? If so, I recommend that you try using the Transaction Inquiry system to search for your orderid and report the missing sale(s) if applicable.

Thanks, and I hope this information is helpful.

    Hi Sarah,
The reports at Linkshare only gice you a net of orders after the order has been shipped or confirmed, is there any way you can fix up the reports so we could have dya to day idividual orders with the order id numbers, that way we can follow up on orders to see if the sale went through or not.
I am particularly concerned because we do not offer rewards or incentives on our site to buyers so we have no other ways of determining or following up transactions apart from the final commissions report we receive from Linkshare.
This way, we can not tell if there is a discrepancy in our reports
    Thank you http://www.abusaki.com

    Hi Girlie,

LinkShare does not receive order information from merchants until the order has been confirmed on the merchant side. Many merchants will not provide order confirmation until the credit card number is authorized, or until the product is actually shipped. Therefore, we cannot provide information on those orders that have not been confirmed by the merchant.

Thanks, and I hope this information is helpful.

Of the 218 merchants that went belly up at Linkshare abusing your trust and our money ..how many did you take to court to collect monies owed on their contract with all parties?? Wouldn't it make sense to pick out any of your major merchants who haven't reported sales for weeks at a time to court. Sure would make the others toe the line and look at all the good PR you'd get with affiliates. Want me to help pick some of the major crooks not reporting sales?? I'm only trying to help your recruitment efforts and clear the fog of distrust overhanging the networks.

    Hi Mike,

Thank you for your comments. Indeed, LinkShare does take its contractual obligations very seriously, and has available to it a variety of remedies to pursue merchants that do not pay. We take steps if a merchant fails to make timely payment even once, and we have a series of escalating steps that are pursued for repeat offenders. Additionally, before a new merchant joins the LinkShare Network, they must first pass through a stringent credit review process.

Many of those merchants to which you refer closed their doors, went bankrupt, or have no forwarding address. Nonetheless, a diligent effort is underway to find successors to these companies, as well as determine what additional steps, if any, can be taken to recover any of the monies owed to affiliates. If deemed appropriate, LinkShare will absolutely take legal action.

As for merchants who are not reporting all sales, we also do require that all merchants report transaction information on a timely and regular basis. If you feel that any particular merchant is not properly reporting all their sales, please fill out the Transaction Inquiry form in your account, or email me at abw@linkshare.com so that we can take a look at your concerns.

    Best,
    Sarah

www.Sandbox.com stiffed me and many others through your program and their website is clearly up and in business.

We are tired of lame rhetoric and would like to see action and results ... words are cheap.

I don't mean to be so tuff on you ..But I have been hearing these talks of improvements ... But things remain business as usual at LS.

    Dave

    Sarah,

We had someone look up all the lawsuits filed in New York City in every legal court, since January 1, 2001.

We could not find ONE lawsuit where Snare is the plaintiff against any merchants what so ever.

To say SNARE take it's contractual obligations seriously is simply a LIE.

And so what if someone goes BK, you can still file a claim against them with the BK court.

You can't find them...hey you can find Jim Cramer of the Street on TV every week day on CNBC so where is the $100 the Street owes me?

And the $10.5K owed me by Bluelight and the $5.2k owed me by All Business, etc, etc, etc.?

Missing ALL data for 13 June 2002 - Impressions, CTR's and Sales!!! Linkshare data collection and reporting is becoming very questionable!

E-mails to Linkshare are unanswerd, as always. (my experience)

My concern is that system failures and database corruption are not being reported to affiliates. In addition, timely data posting is getting worse each day - specifically since 12 June 2002.

Addressing these concerns to affiliates should be timely and truthful. Either by E-mail to our Linkshare mailbox, personal, or on this forum. Does anyone agree with this position?

We all need less grief in our lives!

    Regards from Jim in Texas...
