Does anyone use the multi-merchant banner rotation feature? I wanted to put something rotating in my left-hand navigation area, so I clicked on the link to make multiple merchants rotate (sounds like fun doesn't it ;-)).
Good so far, then I looked at one of the merchants, and it's "Dexter Shoe," (deactivated in February!) Oops...won't be checking that box off.
I guess I am asking if anyone out there has had good luck with the feature. Unless I get a few that say it's great, I will pull the "abort lever." Thanks.

I just realized that I never welcomed you to ABW Well, lets fix that ... Welcome! <IMG src=http://www.abestweb.com/smilies/welcome.gif>
As for the multiple merchant banner rotator, I used it on my SE but the CTR was absolutely pathetic and a total waste of bandwidth. Additionally some merchants (not going to mention any names) put odd sizes in the 468X60 classification so when the page loaded it looked like shoot. Target your ads, never spin ads for free, because that is the end result of that feature, no matter how cool it is.

Thanks for the welcome, most appreciated.
I knew ABW was going to be a benefit to me when I first encountered it a few weeks ago, wish ABW had been here a couple of years ago when I first started.
After reading the comments and reviews given to Jason with 'freebiesforever.com' over in the "Site Help section," and seeing the tactful way in which that was handled - I was even more convinced this is a great community. Many here are professionals, and it shows - you are all obviously first class.

I ran a few checks on my end to replicate the experience you had with Dexter Shoe appearing as an option for a rotating banner. It appears there is an error because their creative should not be included in your selections, and I've gone ahead and submitted the issue to our technical team. I'll let you know what they come up with. In the meantime, I still haven't received those emails you were going to forward to me last week. Did you resend them to email@example.com?
Haiko - While I agree that haphazardly posting a rotating banner of all merchant links may not be an effective strategy, the rotating feature allows you the option of reviewing all available banners and then handpicking those banners that you wish to appear in the rotation. So if there are banners that do not meet your site's requirements, you need not include them. Also, you can use this feature to create a rotating banner that includes a few complementary merchants and then target your messaging to users accordingly.
