Hi all,
I live outside of the US, and for every international commission check that I get, I have to pay the bank $3(!).
Due to that, I would like to have checks sent to me only if they are above, say, $100.
Any suggestions (other than contacting each merchant seperately...)?

BTW, I'm not complaining about getting the checks..
..but the other day I've got a $2.30 check, so I still owe the bank $.70

If you have a friend in the states, you could mail a batch of those small checks to him/her, let them deposit them and then write you one larger check.

Just make sure it's a good friend.

Thanks for the tip, but it can cause problems for him/her with the IRA, as checks will be the payee.
