    I received this email:

    ****************************
In accordance with the Commission Junction Publisher Service Agreement( http://www.cj.com/pub_agreement.asp ), you are being warned for misrepresenting a number of web sites, including but not limited to Google and eBay. Please make the appropriate changes to the Name and URL fields of these and other noncompliant web sites to reflect the sites YOU own or maintain. Your account will be deactivated until these changes have been made.

If you have any questions, please reply to this email.

    Regards
    Client Services
    Commission Junction

If you need further assistance to this issue or to answer an inquiry, please use the "reply-to" address.

    ************************************

Is this email vague or what? If I am doing something wrong, they should tell me exactly what I need to change. The phone rep said that another dept, which doesn't take calls, handles deactivations. That dept usually responds within 3 days. Ugh.

Has anyone here had this experience?

Without knowing your site, are you sure there isn't anything "obvious" that might lead to this? Are your URLs misleading, etc? Could be something simple, yet you might just be overlooking it. BTW, you didn't get a warning first?

CJ is saying your website titles and url fields are misrepresentative of websites you don't own....google, eBay, etc.

I have not been able to comprehend...ever...how so many affiliates have been getting away with...for so long...building their affiliate empires based on such misrepresentations.

What happened to the 60 days to comply? Oh, you're not one of the elite parasites.

Very good point, i would like some clarification from CJ on this. Whats the difference from affiliates who get 60 days and those that get deactivated immediately?

It depends on the violation that 60-day policy.

This looks like this warning was made on merchant's request, possibly eBay.

As far as I can see SamBay he should still be entitled to the same 60 days to correct things as the parasites are.

Bad news if you own hernebay.co.uk.

Really they need to give more precise details, I don't trust spiders to pick up the details correctly.

    I think they removed it.

CJ found out they themselves cannot comply with their own rule.

traffic tricksters and folks who'd eat their pet's if someone paid them enough are what drive the pornsters. Sure all the sleezy traffic games come from the porn industry from popups to drive-bys. Now someone remove this perverts links ....please!
