Anyone else receive any of their checks unsealed from linkshare? I have had 1 to 2 out of 4 checks like this...In fact lately the post office is re-sealing them and putting a note on the back that it came to them unsealed!

I for one do not want to have to go through the hassel of waiting for weeks before doing a stop payment all because someone didn't like the envelope...

Yeppers. Just got one.

Sealed, with a stamp mentioning "insufficient postage".

Luckily I do very little through Linkshare.

I had four or so of them this month -- thought it was just me. No post office hassles, but I was none too pleased -- way too easy for someone to lift the checks... or for them to fall out.

Cost cutting move at LS. They fired the envelope licker and use a trained gerbal since Steves dog slobbered all over the envelopes. Gerbals have very small tongues and small feet to seal the mail..so the results are sporatic. Look on the bright side ..you got your checks??? I'm still waiting on the merchant checks who sent in deposits for last month on the 18-22nd.

Hi All,

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. We've retired all dogs and gerbils and have an actual machine to seal the envelopes, and we're having it looked at to ensure that this does not happen again.

Thanks,
Sarah

Thanks Sarah. Let's hope that you all at Linkshare have this one "licked".

Thanks Sarah. Any idea when we'll get some long awaited news regarding Linkshare's new payment methods? ie wires, consolidated payments, any other goodies, etc?

Let's hope they got some kind of severence package since their skill sets are limited.

Sarah,

I just received a Linkshare check today Aust 30. The envelope was completely open. It looked as if it was never glued. It seems that the machine was not fixed properly.

Please do something about it. It shouldn't hard to solve this problem.

Thank you again for your attention.

Cheers

Marcelle

I think that they just recently had the machine looked at, so it was mailed out right before this...

Hey me too - I thought it was just a fluke. I received a few checks unsealed - and they weren't little checks either!! I'm just glad the checks didn't fall out the envelope.

All seems well with the check machine as we just received that latest few checks completely sealed.
