I wanted to ask ABW'ers about DRM's and banners.

We offer 4 types of DRM's in very large sizes to 120x600 and 125x125 sizes. We updated these every other day. I wanted to see what sizes you like to use and if you don't use DRM's - why not? What type of configurations do you like to see on your site?

Also, do you like the option of choosing from 100 banners or would you rather have ten to choose from that are updated dynamically once a month.

What are you thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I'm not a ColdWaterCreek affiliate so forgive me butting in, but in general ...

I love DRMs where they insert real content into my page - as opposed to a graphic banner regardless of size.

A DRM for me shouldn't look like an intrusive "ad", more like product info.
If I can be sure that it always shows (say) the best selling product in a given category - that's great merchant/affiliat einfo to have on a page.

As to size - the more options the better. small product shot + short text/medium text/long text. Text to the side, text below. That's about 6 options per DRM

Well, you did ask

Thanks Stewart! I definitely want to hear from any affiliate.

You make some really good points. So basically the more the better?

Hi Jamie, I don't like DRM's because they slow pages down.
Advanced product linking rules.
Regarding banners I rather have 10 hot ones dynamically updated every month but in the same product category.
The sizes I tend to go for are 125 x 125, I sometimes use 120 x 600 but would like to see
a 120 x 400.

DRMs do slow down pages!

I see leader board ads making more of an impact and adding credibility as only the majors having them.

Once again ... the more tools the better!
