This basically is what 7-Days has been asking about and never good a good answer. I left half my ebay links at CJ and switched the other half to BeFree to do some comparison. Yesterday i usually get about 20-25 Ebay sales from one of my sites, i got 0. Logged in this morning and 15 show up with the event date 11PM-1230AM. There is no way possible 15 bids were made in this time frame. So maybe someone from CJ can explain or a merchant. What exactly is the Event date. From what i see its not actually the time the transaction took place its when the CJ servers get it? If someone makes an Ebay bid at 3PM it can show up at 10PM as being the Event date.

Todd, I'm not the only one asking this...

I work with CJ and we utilize a batch process to post our signups. What this might be, and this is not concrete, is that during the day the "sales" accumulate and when the day's totals are retrieved from the DB (perhaps between 11pm and 12:30am) that is the time that is showing as the event date. Since many advertisers such as ourselves gather the data then push to CJ at end of business day, the date could be related to the extraction of information into the transfer file.

While batch processing makes more sense, if you get 20-25 bids a day, it's possible that 15 of them occur in 1,5 hours. One customer bidding on several items, etc.

    TrustNo1,

I'm really getting the impression Todd is just ignoring our question.
