Maybe my reply was a little harsh being that Dell always has been known as the diversion leader. My reply to the below Dell Hoilday promotion.

    -----------------------
You can see why I don't showcase Dell Home Systems in my computer Cybermalls.

    LS -Sales and Activity Report

    1/1/2002 - 11/22/2002

    Merchant Name Impressions Click-Throughs C/I(%) # of Orders # of Items # of Items Canceled O/C(%) Sales($) Commissions($)
    Dell Home Systems 127,164 722 0.57% 2 4 2 0.28% $0.00 $0.00
    Report Totals: 127,164 722 0.57% 2 4 (2) 0.28% $0.00 $0.00

You can also see why I nurtured the affiliate manager at TigerDirect when he agreed to listen and participate at www.abestweb.com in order to get the following conversion results which apply to all affiliates.

EcomCity -worlds most complete shopping community
    From 01/01/2002 To 11/21/2002
Affiliate Site # Shipments Shipped Sales # Returns Returned Sales Net Sales Site Revenue
    EcomCity -worlds most complete shopping community 662 $74,768.67 14 $539.92 $74,228.75 $2,992.98

Traffic to them was very justified...
EcomCity -worlds most complete shopping community
    From 01/01/2002 To 11/21/2002
Affiliate Site Transaction Day Transaction Date Impressions Click Throughs Click to Impression %
    Subtotal 2,683,339 38,769 1.44%
    Total 2,683,339 38,769 1.44%

so 38,769 clicks generated 662 sales giving them a conversion ratio of 1 sale per every 58 clicks. So you can see it isn't something having to do with Linkshare reporting here are the DeLL small biz stats at Befree.

So basically Dells commitment to using every single parasitic program from Morpheus/Buyersport -ebates -iWon -KaZZA -Commonnames -Gator -Whenu/Shopnow and all others at www.parasiteware.com has killed all your normal affiliate sales and targeted traffic, which got hijacked. Incidently I've been a computer VAR since 1981 and used to sell Mike Dell all my excess IBM Pc's. No offense ..it's just business.

I seem to have the opposite going. I have trouble doing much for Tiger, but with both Dell Home and Dell Small Business I do well.
Also, if you are a high selling affiliate you do get better commission rates.
