I believe that the red star (Premium Merchant) needs to be modified. Take a lesson from eBay.
A site with a high average $ per order is penalized if they don't pay the $25 minimum threshold. To some, that's just a rebate check.
Also, a merchant can come in new, and become a Premium Partner, with no track record. Some sites have been with Linkshare since 1998 and they get nothing.
They have a multiple star system. I would like to see different icons for longevity in Linkshare, because I would apply for programs that I know have been around for a while and gone through the ups and downs of affiliate marketing.
