Leaving LS is becoming the popular thing to do!

    I don't care where they go, I'll probably follow them . . .

    Hey Gearshopper...

Did you get an e-mail from LL Bean telling you that they are leaving? I did not get one, and I am one of their affiliates.

Over the years, the United States has sent many of its fine young men and women into great peril to fight for freedom beyond our borders. The only amount of land we have ever asked for in return is enough to bury those that did not return.

Yes, what is the source? I had heard rumors that they were taking it in-house.

I think your too obstinate for them Don

    Here's the email.

    Dear L.L.Bean Affiliate:

This e-mail to let you know that L.L.Bean's contract with LinkShare expires at midnight on Monday, March 31st.

We are moving our affiliate program to a new provider and will contact you first thing Tuesday morning (April 1st) with details about the transition.

We believe this change will make our program even stronger, and you should see immediate tangible benefits.

Please note that we will maintain the same affiliate fees and number of return days (7).

We realize that this shift may cause some temporary inconvenience to your website, and we are working closely with the new vendor to ensure that any disruption is kept to a minimum.

Please don't hesitate to contact me with any concerns about this transition (or for any other reason!).

Thank you for your continued support of L.L.Bean!

    Show me the Big Bucks!
