I've decided to promote the Columbia House dvd offer to see how it goes. Has anyone had any experience with CH in the past? I'm wondering how many tire kickers I should expect. My gutt says it should be a decent converter, but then there are lots of kids clicking on the movie and dvd links. I wish Linkshare had some sort of performance numbers.

    692 impressions, 26 click-throughs, 0 sales.

They're on my quarterly "dump 'em" list. If no improvement by the end of this quarter then I'm saying goodbye to CH.

Pushing your shoppers on a Direct mail- Telemarketer -e-mail info gathering operation like Columbia House seems like a streach.

Don't expect to earn too much...something definitely but it is certainly not a program to spend a lot of effort on or advertising on.

Not really worth it , but hey, it's free money every month ( as long as you're not paying for any advertising for them , I guess they are okay ) .

I have one text link to them somewhere on a deserted freebies site , and this is what I have for July , I couldn't even tell you if it was for the DVD's , Movies , the music club or what

    Impressions 645 Click-Throughs 100 Sales($) 4 Commissions($) $30.00

Edited to say, in all fairness to Columbia House .. I used to make much more with them , when I would keep sneaking them back on the main page with the newest freebies . ( Giving them some actual, ya know .. traffic exposure

If I recall correctly , They did best right before the Holidays for the cheapos or poor folks that would join the club obviously , for gift giving purposes .

They have some TV titles that are not available anywhere else at the present in a commissionable fashion. In some instances its link to Colubmbiahouse for a given TV show or link to ebay and have people look for it.

Ok, I'm about three days in and at 1256 clickthroughs and zero sales. Is there a delay in posting for a sign up? Like 4 or 5 days? This is targeted DVD traffic on the DVD offer. I want TrustNo1's ratio.

CH always has SERIOUS delays in stuff hitting the reports (which can be months after the click).

But, more importantly, the program is DEAD right now.

Linkshare links are all down. Linkshare says they aren't paying.
