    Hi all,

We were sending out some private offers today and our sales op. group accidently sent out the email offer to ALL of our affiliates everytime. The result was our affiliates received the same email multiple times.

We greatly apologize for the inconvenience and hope that you understand that sometimes technology creates more issues than it resolves.

We have certainly learned from this event and will do everything within our power to avoid a similar reoccurrence.

Should you have any particular concerns please do not hesitate to contact me directly.

    Best,

    Tom

    Thanks for the apology.

I bit my lip... It was difficult but I understand that there are f-ups once in a while.

It's good of you to come here and apologize.

But why not an apology for all the spam?

    http://groups.google.com/groups?q=bl...=off&scoring=d

Why promote them when they are so busy with the spam? I have called them to ask about their spamming practice and their action on affiliates who spam, and I was told to get lost, they don't care.

So signup and compete against spammers - joy.

    Chet,

I do apologize if your perception of any previous communication with our company was poor. We do care about our partners and I will personally respond, to the best of my ability, to any concerns you have.

You will find that we are responsive, courteous, and professional...life is too short to be anything else.

I welcome the opportunity to work with you.

    Best,

    Tom

I have also addressed the issue of spam (where ever it is coming from) with them. Hopefully it will halt so more affiliates will promote you.

We were just spammed "Get a FREE $100 Amazon.com(R) Gift Certificate from bluedolphin.com, America's Magazine Superstore."

We've never had a relationship with bluedolphin, maxonline or dcswx.

I tried going to the unsubscribe provided in the email and got an error.

Geez, Tom, that's a pretty substantial list of spam complaints your company has there on Google. With all the your Sales Op. Group has sent out, you'd think they'd know how to do it by now...

    Intentional mistake, perhaps???

Well those Calif sleezebag lawyers on January 1st will welcome all merchant emails from those co-reg list brokers. Charlie's already signing up for free e-mail accounts hosted in California with spam forwarding to Sleeze, Schumer,Slammer and SuckBucks LTD on Hollywood Blvd.

    Mike & Charlie ...

Mike is dead on for this one. This is exactly the scum the law hopes to catch. For example, blue dolphin recently sent spam thru look4emails.com

Who is lookforemails.com? another shell company by a spammer that has just been operating for few weeks.

So people like bluedolphin use these spammers to protect themselves from being the direct spammer, yet these spammers only exist for months if not weeks before being known, closed down and doing it again.

And as a disclaimer, the email in question states directly that is from bluedolphin and bluedolphin was notified of the spam.

If bluedolphin was really sending to a legit list, why use a fly-by night spammer?

    Thanks

I remember getting a LOT of personal spam from Blue Dolphin and I finally had to call them and email every address under the sun to get removed...
