When a merchant reviews a LS affiliate applicant for approval, which site do they see listed; the site that is listed in the affiliate's "Profile", or the first site listed in the affiliate's entire list of sites?

The site listed under Profile ONLY. Merchants can not see any other sites, so I recommend listing some of your other sites in your profile description too if you have some niche sites away from what your listed profile site is about.

Often the profile description offered by sites in LinkShare is worthless. I'd much rather see people write something like

    "I have 3 sites, www.bob.com - content about cars : www.bill.com - shopping about clothes : www.nat.com - content about kids"

IMHO I think this is far better and useful than some of the 'interesting' stuff people list.

    Cheers

    Chris

Thanks Chris. That's good to know.

Many of us have our "first ever" site listed there. At least in my case, that one is an abandoned piece of junk I would rather not present to merchants for approval.

    Hi Chief

You'd be amazed at some of the sites listed for people who have been with LinkShare for years, some people who signed up back in 2000 and 1999 still have the first site they created listed and many times it is dead or plain awful.

This is certainly one area in which LS can improve, allowing Merchants to see all listed sites.

    Cheers

    Chris
