    Hello! I posted earlyer about target (had no replys). I was wondering if anyone could tell me if target is a good affiliate program to use.Thanks

    I only have a link to them and it has never converted. I view them in the same way I view Wal-Mart. People look at the site to see if they have BLAH product then go to the store and get it.

    I do keep the link with a hope the visitor will look at other links while they are there.

    I agree with Sandra. Poor conversions for Target and Wall-Mart. Retailers with extensive brick-and-mortor presence appear to be problematic. Not really sure why we continue with them except to have incidental traffic from folks looking for the current sales then will go to the store to purchase the item(s). I think they regard the affilate program as free advertising. With performance based advertising, they have nothing to loose.

    I agree with the previous posters.

    Target and Walmart both are poor converters.

    I just use them as a drawing card, just like they use me for free advertising.
