    Todd and CJ folks,

    I was told, via CJ's Ask A Question service, that the datafeeds would be changing in June.

    I receive the entire datafeed for my merchants, which is quite large and hard to manage. I've been waiting now for two months for this improvement that was to occur in June, but did not see it as of my June 29th datafeed. What's up? Did it get left out of this upgrade? Will it occur soon? Will it occur at all?

    Ron,

    I was told by tech support last Thursday that the datafeed change was scheduled for this update, or shortly thereafter.

    I heard this was changing too. It would require you to request to have your feeds changed from how they are now. We are not automatically slicing up feeds unless it is requested.

    (okay, you answered two of many, but it's a great start)

    Second, is this function available now...can I go to AAQ and request it or is there a date in the future that this will happen.

    OK, here is how it works (I think).

    1) You can get one big file for all advertisers.
    2) You can get one big file for all or selected advertisers.
    3) You can get any of the above but only include catalogs that have been updated since last sent.

    I think there may be a bug they are working on but it should be available to publishers by the end of the week. You need to create an incidnet and request the change(s).

    Already sent in a request to AAQ a little bit ago.

    However, what I heard on a couple of occasions from AAQ was really a little different. I was told that (whatever we got) the feed would have advertisers broken down into seperate folders. What you are saying does not seem to address that at all. Can any of the above mentioned feeds come with advertisers split out into their own seperate folders?

    Concerning the third option :-

    how will we know if a product has been deleted ?

    I suggest you get the specifics from tech support. I might not explain it correctly. They will know exactly what can and cannot be done.
