When I got started in this business 2 years ago and started making money Linkshare was by far the best performing network. Now as my traffic and business continues to increase (the past 6 months) I am getting great conversions from Performics and CJ and now ShareaSale is showing an increase yet what about Linkshare. The clicks are still right up there with the rest but the sales and conversions have plummetted to almost nil. Is this the result of Parasites? It certainly has me baffled and frustrated. Any ideas?

I'm having the same issue too ronWLS.

Comparing the same merchants from March 2003 to March 2004, my commissions have quadrupled. They are up 25% from last month.

Off about 50% from Y-2003. Might be the quality of the traffic I'm getting to my various landing pages. I don't use PPCSE traffic ...just the free listings. I know my showcase LS merchant is honest, but even their sales are off.

I switched out a few merchants who stopped converting. But the overall conversion rate is still down 30% from 2003. Maybe it will improve when I get a chance to drop a couple more deadbeats.

One that I had suspicions about did not track a test purchase (until I submitted a missing transaction report).

LS merchants are up over 100% from 2003. I attribute it to higher traffic due to better SE rankings.

March, although not as good as February, is still my second best month ever.... <Wishful thinking> and a monster day tomorrow could make it my best </wishful thinking>

I'm also wondering what's going on. In spite of a good clickrate I've had no sales since 3/19.

My linkshare numbers are all way up from last year for this same period...
Must just depend on which merchants you are promoting.
