I enter my correct user/pass with security code. It just doesn't log me in. It bring me back to the same page.

Linkshare needs to make the fields wider for the login name and passwords...I personally cannot even tell if I am still typing because the field is so narrow!!!

Linkshare, can you address this simply issue?

Update...Now, this afternoon, the login page gives an error when even trying to get to it....The only thing you can get to is the linkshare home page...You cannot even get a login prompt anymore...page errors.

Update #2: Thanks Linkshare for working on fixing the field widths...The login field is plenty big but the password field is still about two (2) digits shy...

I went to log into Linkshare and...

"You have been logged out for security reasons. To log back in again, please enter your Username and Password above. For your convenience, you will be brought directly back to the page you were accessing in your account. "

That is wierd because I am clueless as to what "security" issues they have with my login plus I am still building my website.

We have as far as I can tell kept in line with their TOS.

    Can anyone offer some insight?

We have logged on and off all day with no problems. But, we always empty the cache and browser history before we close the browser.

Also, every 2nd or 3rd day we review all the cookies and delete most.

This keeps Safari from being too bloated.

    Sorry we don't use IE

I use Roboform to auto log me in once, which fails because of the graphic, and then I tell it to auto-fill the form for me again, and I type in the new graphic.

I can't even get to the login page this morning. When I'm on the home page and click on on log in. No failure msg, nothing. It just sits there with a blank page.

Well, I was going to make a huge number of LS merchant pages and links today. Instead I'll be moving on to my Performics merchants.

Steve, really I can't believe that your team doesn't think things through or have systems in place to identify these kinds of problems.

If you hover over the original login icon and look at the link, it says

    https://ssl.linksynergy.com/php-bin/...ason=icf_login

It's like they are doing it on purpose

I can now log on, BUT the Run Reports and Make Links Tabs are dead.

Billy Kay, I noticed what you noticed:[https://ssl.linksynergy.com/php-bin/...on=icf_login.]

I'm contacting the affected affiliate mgrs, so that they can know that I made links for their competitors at performics instead of their programs this morning. They can check my website to see that this indeed happened. Maybe they have some influence over LS.

    I started subbing products too.

The first one I picked - totally at random - was a silver pocket watch from a linkshare merchant.

What a hassle! It's EVERYWHERE! 26 references to just this one product:

    Fathers day gifts
    Mens gifts
    Groomsmen gifts
    executive gifts
    jewelry
    retirement gifts
    grandpa gifts
    and more..

have I said this before? "Aargh!"

    Billy Kay,

Are you going over to any of the abestweb get togethers? I notice that you live in Las Vegas.

I went for about 1/2 hour yesterday - but I'm not a "mingler".

The merchants that were there are none of mine - (except EBay - and the only thing I want to do with eBay is whack them on the head with a 2 by 4!)

and the ABW's weren't wearing their "Icons" - which I can only identify people by their icon or member name like "Aunt Lily"

I PM'd a few members with my phone # if they're in town

I WANT to go today, but the Stardust doesn't have daycare - and a sitter in this town is $100 - which is the same price as a season pass to Wet-n-Wild (which opened this weekend) and my 10-year old told me "I promised"

    so don't know about today...

In another thread I explained the unexpected DNS issue with one of our providers. We are working on it with them as quickly as wel can and I apologize for some of the issues you have experienced.

    Hi Steve,

I am able to login ok now....earlier I was also getting the blank page. However, I'm only showing one single transaction (a free signup at that), since Thursday night. I sure hope something is still amiss, because business hasn't been that bad since I started a couple of years ago.

I wrote this in another post. What you need to do is clear your cookies and delete your cached files in the IE options menu. Then close IE and restart IE and try to login again. This usually fixes the problem. It may take a couple of attempts.
