    Does anyone else have problems with Linkshare's live help screen?

    I don't think they've ever been able to answer a question - even a simple one.

    And does it "time-out" every 2 minutes and you have to start all over with another rep - does this happen to anyone else?

    I'm sure Ebony, Temika, Regina/Reginold, Garth et al, are very familiar with who I am.

    Today, now that the reports are finally up, I noticed that the current month commission plus the previous month commission for Macy's (didn't reach the minimum last month) didn't add up to the total I'm being paid. I asked Temika, and all she can do is notify someone else at Linkshare of the discrepancy. I'm only allowed to contact these general support people, so I didn't get an answer. All I got was a "forwarded question".

    Then I noticed that Disney disappeared from my "They owe us Money" report. I asked did they finally pay all the terminated affiliates. Are we being stiffed. Then as, always, it disconnected.

    I re-logged back onto linkshare. This time got Regina/Reginold.

    This time she got me back to Temika, but usually the first rep is already on another call, so you have to start from scratch.

    Here's what a "disconnect" looks like:

    While you're free to - and encouraged to fix this - I really posted this to see if it happens to everybody else or just me.

    You know those posts that you don't want to answer here at ABW and there's always a "hey where's smesser - is he hiding" post by someone?

    When you get to live support, since they can't "hide", they HAVE to reply, but it always seems like they evade every question, no matter how simple, they give answers that are misleading, contradictory, and wrong.

    Ebony actually told me on live chat that Linkshare isn't able to check to see if their tracking system works. NOT that she doesn't know how it's done, but that it CAN'T be done. Be more than happy to PM you that one.

    Yesterday, when we all logged into Linkshare, everyone found the same thing - no clicks, no sales, etc.

    I read all the posts here - there were a bunch of "this is weird" posts, but no actual answer.

    So I went straight to the source. Linkshare. Asked a direct question: Your site says the reports are current - are they really current?

    They said YES! Not even a "maybe delayed a little, or some merchants are OK some are coming". Just a straight YES - whatever it states on the report is what you got!

    So I stand by my claim that you don't get straight answers from the support reps.

    I also said the chat window is always broken. Yesterday it wouldn't allow me to save a copy of the transcript.
