For the love of God, I know good and well, it cost a lot more to print this check AND mail it to me than it was worth.

Stephen, it's time for consolidated payments.

    And that's my 6¢

Hum, I would like the 6-7 checks that are just below payout minimums that the merchants dropped me so I couldn't reach the minimums. It is a couple hundred bucks or so between them all....

I did get a check for $1.42 from an indy program and I called them and asked them not to do that again

Yes, time for consolodation! Lots of small time affiliates sell hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise only to stay below a $50 min for years and then the affiliate either quits or is terminated. If consolidation is not an option, then each merchant should be required to payout all commissions at the end of the year (as a few already do) or provide a $10 min payout option. I just dumped one merchants links since I will never reach their min payment. Our strength as affiliates is to offer a diverse offering of products - we can't always provide tons of traffic and clickthrus to each and every merchant.

I got a 2 cent check once from the IRS. Never cashed it and Just kept it in my wallet as a joke. Few years later they actually sent me a letter asking me to cash it.

    Loxly,

Only 6 ot 7...we had over 40 who did the exact same thing...and even worse, Meeser wouldn't provide us with any information so we could go collect the money.

I know of one company that had close to 2,000 affiliates who were owed more than $40 but less than the $50 payout who dropped everyone for some made up fraud charge...yet some of them were only making $4 or $5 per month - the previous 9 months they were all kosher...but they would have gotten a check the next month so they were now all frauds.

It added up to affiliates being stiffed by over $100,000 just from that one merchant.

What did Meeser do...nothing. He just said we only provide the software and are not responsible for what the merchants do or do not do. And then destroyed all the records.
