    Hi,

I've seen that this has been discussed before
but I was wondering what the status is regarding
consolidated payments. Right now I am
paying 12.30 euro to cash a check.
If you do the math a $25 check is almost not
worth the trip to the bank

LS will most likely implement this when pigs can fly, which means probably never!!

I have sent them an email, let's wait for an official response. This surely sets me back
from joining new programs on LS.

I'm still new to aff marketing but I though this
was one of the reasons why people joined
a network in the first place ?

Please see this thread, let us keep this discussion focused as too many small threads may not send a unified voice!

    Hey Linkshare,

we could really really use consolidated payments.

That would be a great value add on your part that would give you an upper hand over independents.

Other networks like CJ and SAS have consolidated payments. You'll be a lot more attractive to affiliates if you could implement consolidated payments as it helps overseas affiliates save a LOT of money.

LinkShare has heard all of this before. They know this is an important issue for their affiliates. I can certainly understand that a lot of changes will need to be made in order to make this possible, but it does seem like it's taking a very long time.

This is one area where the competition is so far ahead of LS, there's no comparison. And CJ, given it's many faults, pays on time month after month, with direct deposit for most of us.

Do I consider that when placing links on my site and joining new merchants? You bet I do!

It's really past time for LS to make this happen, it should be a top priority at the network.

Personally, I've dropped the majority of my LS partners, all but a few of the best. It drives me nuts when each individual merchant shorts out on the minimum so I get no payment for months from most.
Same with Bfree, I've dropped all but about 5 that seem to sell monthly.
I've had absolutely no problem with cj, I get paid every month on time, direct deposit from all, even the sporadic sellers.
Since I've been on this board, I learned how to screen better, I dropped all merchants which had parasites, I'm careful who I join.
It really irks me to go 10 places to see stats and then wait to get paid.
I've just about stopped joining LS and BFree new merchants, I stick to CJ and some private ones.

Unified voices are overrated. The large number of threads that conclude with the suggestion that affiliates are better off using SaS and CJ in lieue of Linkshare because of the lack of consolidated payments and performance metics sends a much stronger message to Linkshare and its merchants who are missing out on hundreds of thousands of dollars due to the lack of basic features.

As for unified voices...a unified voice simply means that there is a person or group skillful in manipulating opinion. A steady grumble of dissastification means that you have a real problem. For those who understand the way the world works...the second is much more omenous.
