So last night I get an email saying I was terminated from their program. They said my site had Adult content etc and Breach of Contract. My site doesn't have adult content so this email pissed me off.

Since Computers4Sure is part of office Depot. I terminated my relation ship with Office Depot, Tech Depot and any other site affiliated with Office Depot.

About an hour ago I get an apology email form Computers4Sure saying the termination was in error.

    I guess I overreacted.

Always good to check the reason first, in case somebody hacked your site and funny stuff is going on.

You haven't lost out on anything - I've never made a dime with them - they work with ebates, schoolpop, and who knows what else.

I recieved both of those emails also.
Looks like someone made a big mistake.
I reacted the same way to them saying my site has Adult content etc and Breach of Contract.
Then I said the heck with them I only have a few links up for them and forgot about it.
I wonder how many people got it an took down their links. Oh well!

Someone goofed. Everyone ought to send an e-mail telling them that affiliates are dropping them due to parasitic partnerships

Got it, ignored it. Got a beg your pardon today from them. Not worth getting upset about for all the reasons posted above.

We received the same email and sent Dianis back an equally rude response.

Being they are are a parasitic linkshare merchant we terminated our relationship with them.

I didn't know they were parasite I had made some nice comission off them in the past but in the past 2 months I haven't promoted them as much.

I don't think I will reaply to any office depot program now that I know they are parasites and I will delete Computers4Sure since they reactivated me.

    This was my reply,

    Dear Affiliate Manager,
We regret to inform you that *** **** has permanently removed you from
our web sites for one or more of the following reasons:
    * failure to convert clicks into sales
    * allowing parasites to steal commissions

Although we can not have you participate in our promotions, LinkShare has
many other affiliates willing to waste their time and effort.

Thank you for your interest and best of luck with your Affiliate Program.

slowhand, that is a great response! And, it's one that many merchants deserve.
