I get the message every time I login.

But after hearing some of the horror stories that others went through when they tried to update their info; and then couln't login for days, Well I'm just ignoring the whole thing. Just one more click.

Had a nice post but waited 15 minutes and decided not to print it.
    summary is probably better:
    Linkshare ... Sucks ... Heads ... Butts

Been away, now I'm back. Not as much, but I'm back & starting from scratch. Where I was, was fantastic. Where I am now, less so. Things have changed, become harder. So have I. Game ON!!!

If this is a different situation than the lockout some of us experienced a little while ago, I wonder what brought this on?

had no problems logging in earlier this morning, though. Maybe I just got through the hoops OK last time. And yes, it was very frustrating, especially with absolutely no input from LinkSnare as to what was happening.

I've been getting it for about a week or two.

I finally got annoyed enough with it that I tried to update my profile. I selected a security question, entered an answer, and clicked Update. It said: "<span class="ev_code_RED">'&lt;', '&gt;' are not allowed! Names with these characters will not be created</span>". HUH? I don't have '&lt;' or '&gt;' in ANY of the fields. Tried several more times. Same error.

I finally gave up. I logged back in. I wasn't prompted to update my security question. I checked my account. The security question and answer were accepted. Go figure.

Why is it that every single "enhancement" at Linkshare causes more work?

Instead of hassling us with this kind of stuff, why can't they fix the frequent reporting problems, track down merchants who aren't setting cookies, implement direct deposit and consolidated payments that they've been promising for YEARS, and do other things that actually HELP affiliates?
