    Newbie,

You are not alone. Merchants, like Target, draw good interest(clicks), but generate very little revenue.

The reason that we have found, from our personal experience, is that their links go to a "home page", not to a specific landing page with a special offer that generates a call to action.

As a result most of the traffic goes there for several reason like finding locations, customer service numbers, and looking for certain items before going to the local store.

Recently target has been offer a wake up call to customers that want to visit their stores for the special sales following Thanksgiving.

All that is good for Target, but does not make any money for you, the publisher. As a result you are sending traffic away from your site and getting zero in return.

I have been visiting with the Merchants about having special landing pages, and using Dynamic Rich Media (DRM) to update their special offers.. mostly clearance items, over-runs, ect..

My experience is that some of the Merchants want to help the publisher, and will work with the publisher to generate revenue for those that send them traffic.. and others don't care.

Most of the Affiliate Managers I have spoken with are always interested in suggestions.

We focus on the ones that care, and drop the others.

looks like it is slowly trickling in. another delay is that the items are not shipped yet.

Are you perhaps not promoting the right products? If you pick something popular and underpriced, you may get more sales.

I hope that you have seen the sales come in since your original posting. Unfortunately, I can't verify w/o your specific site info. It is normal to see a lag between clicks and sales in our program, b/c for accounting purposes we realize the sales upon shipment of the purchased goods. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
