Has anybody seen any Target sales post this month? My clicks are higher than they were last month but I've yet to see a single sale. I had several last month with fewer clicks. This just seems very fishy to me considering it's December and conversions should be much higher.

LOL, they keep sending me emails threatening to drop me if I don't "get active". Several emails over the past 2 months and I have added search boxes and done searches on them to generate some clicks. Apparently they want sales, not clicks so come January 1 I expect to be tossed. See me building a dedicated section? Nope, I don't want to have to pull it down in 2 weeks!

I ran a test purchase... oh who are we kidding, I did some Christmas shopping with Target on the 15th. The sale finally showed up on the 18th after everything shipped on the 17th

I'm having the same problem. I had very targeted add campaigns this holiday season and lots of clickthroughs for Target and I saw NADA!

I tried a test and no results, I thought maybe b/c it was delivered by Amazon and not Target? I still cannot believe that I had no sales. They were very hot holiday gifts and were very hard to find in stock.

I have received the "the become active or else" e-mails also. I'm wondering if I should bother keeping them at all. I have e-mailed them, and have heard nothing.

I made a purchase through my target link, it showed up. 3 other sales with them out of 39 clicks. I really don't promote them much. Too easy for people to run down to the corner store after they look.

Target is converting at about 1 sale per 30 clicks for me on a volume of far greater than 1000 clicks. I have to say, target has realy pulled through this season for me.

I only used them as a filler merchant because they dont convert well most of the year. When they started converting well in November I bumped them up to a primary merchant. They will be bumped back down to filler in Feb most likely.

I'm looking at 612 click throughs with 0 sales since November 20th with Target. I suspect the problem is with their datafeed. I've noticed that they list a lot of out of stock products in their feed so I tend to send a lot of traffic to out of stock products. I really wish they'd get that fixed. I update their products quite frequently, but they don't hold up on their side of the deal very well...

I, too, have seen a bunch of Target clicks with only a couple of sales (reported 3 days after the sales). I've noticed the large number of 'out of stock' or bad SKU or ... with Target. Does any one have a technique to filter out the bad links automatically?

I gave them over two thousand clicks and scored a single small sale. I wonder how it is possible Amazon and Walmart could do so well for me on some very hot products while Target is like a black hole.

For example, we sent around 10,000 clicks to Walmart and they scored on over 2% of them despite the 0.167 Return Days.

    10% commissions? Thanks for nothing.

Removing Target today, Walmart comes down tomorrow.

We pay on shipped orders only. So you will only see the sales registered after the goods have been shipped. It is possible that if your orders were for a hot holiday product that the shipping may take longer b/c of availability issues.

Scott- we are working on getting better availability information for our datafeed. We have been on a tehnology freeze for holiday, but will begin working on it soon.

I am very disappointed with Target. As a new affiliate, I was promised Q4 (2004) 10% commission and a $20 bonus if a $50 order was placed within 30 days of sign-up.

Well, I placed a $50 order myself. Target split it into two orders (based on the fact that 2 of my items were from my 'buy later' list? seperate session ID nos were assigned). 10% commission but no bonus.

Being near Christams, I placed a second $50 order. No commission, nada, nothing. I sent in a tracking inquiry after I received the product (shipped!) No response from Target yet. Never received a response from my first inquiry, either (regarding the split sale).

    Not cool.

When did you submit the Transaction Inquiry and what is the number? I'll make sure it gets looked into. If you have questions you can always contact me at the address below or at Affiliates@target.com.

    Thanks,

We had a strange holiday season with Target. Strange because nobody in our highly trageted audience bought any of the hottest toys thru them.

Stange how everyone bought thru Amazon.com, Walmart, etc but somehow avoided Target. I guess they just liked clicking the links to Target then bought thru our Amazon links.

Someone ought to either teach them how to close a sale on the internet or else teach them how to turn on our tracking.

I am new to this but in my limited experience Target has one of the top click thru ratios but no sales. Maybe it's just because the banners are eyecatching?
