How can a merchant have a 3 month EPC of $20.60 and a 1 week EPC of 0? Those are the current #'s for PineMeadow Golf.

Those numbers side by side don't make sense do they?

I believe the monthly EPC is only adjusted at the end of the month, so the current EPC would be for the months of April, May, and June.

The 7 day EPC is adjusted daily now, so a 0.00 EPC would indicate no sales during the last 7 days. If this trend continues for very long, it will reflect in a much lower 3 month EPC at the beginning of next month.

There's another program at CJ that regularly has 0.00 for their 7 day EPC, it's RoadLoans. I wondered about that for a while as well, and determined they just flat out haven't had ANY sales.

I think this is correct, if not I'm sure someone will chime in with more info...

They quite probably/possibly could have had lots of sales, it could just be the parasites steal them all.

If the parasites were stealing them all.... wouldn't they still have an epc?? Or does this merchant have a private program?

Sounds more like a merchant not tracking or a merchant not having any sales at all situation.

Usually I've found its the merchant isn't tracking and reporting sales when they have sudden drops to 0 EPC.

    Makes sense Andy...

The reason it is noteworthy (to me, at least ) is that PineMeadow has the best EPC short and long term of any golf merchants. (Not counting my cobrand Pro Shop) Their 120 day unlimited cookie sure doesn't hurt. But it is curious that their short term EPC is 0! I guess that sort of tells all of us that the 4th (weekend) didn't just sting affiliates. Ouch!

Actually, with pinemeadow, the reason is because they batch sales reports and they haven't run a report since July 2nd.

    Yep, that's the reason. But...

    1. Their 7 day EPC before this period (look at the 30 day chart) has been a little low as well.

    2. I seem to remember they were going to batch every business day.

    Put another way...I'm getting nervous.

    Possible explanations:

    1. The aff prog manager's on a post-July 4th vacation, and the next batch will get done on Monday.

    2. There's a problem they're working through before they process sales.

    3. Something's gone horribly wrong!

They have a big buffer zone of trust with me, but a little explanation/communication wouldn't go amiss.

A large batch of sales going back to June 30 came through on Friday, so it seems all is well.
