Checked my account this morning and a locked red withdrawel for the amount of the next payment was posted. The account balance had dropped by that amount as well.

Checking now the locked payment withdrawel posting has disappeared and the account balance has gone back up by that amount.

Once an Item is Locked or Accepted it is dropped from the list, If you still want to see those items, In the top menu bar click on reports and run the transaction report for the day....

I look for the day, when every affiliate from every nation can climb to the mountain top and yell,

Me too, except my account balance has NOT gone back up. What a mess.

I'm going to bed and hope that when I wake up tomorrow morning everything will be back to normal.

It is not acceptable practice in accounting to correct mistakes by using the virtual equivalent of white-out. If funds are debited or credited in error they must be adjusted in such a way that an audit trail is available to all parties.

Rhea >> It is not acceptable practice in accounting to correct mistakes by using the virtual equivalent of white-out.

Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures haven't found their way into affiliate program accounting. And you've noticed, Rhea, they've invented white ink to compliment red and black.

Checks and balances seem to amount to a blindfold and an eraser.

Whiznot, I'm not a CPA, but Daddy is one, and Grandpa was one, and one of my brothers is one. I cut my baby teeth on FASB documentation. Sorta.

Anyway, I lied. I didn't go to bed as you can see. And before I get anyone riled up as a result of my previous post, my account balance has now been reset to the correct amount. I *think* that action was triggered by a sale that took place. Maybe. Who knows? I'm content.

Now I really am going to bed.

    Sweet dreams, all!

Mine has not gone back to normal yet. Did everyone else go back? It is very frustrating.

No, mine hasn't gone back to normal either. Ho hum. Can someone explain to me why I still persist with CJ. I can't remember now.

CJ needs to rethink this process. It ain't workin' too good the way it is...

If you take money out of an account, there should be a notation in the Payment Status window that $XXXX.XX is being processed, and then it can be listed in Payment History when it's been sent.

Right now, the money has been withdrawn from my account, but it's not to be found anywhere in any report other than the withdrawal. I've just got the transaction where it was withdrawn. Goodbye, it's just gone. Can't be found anywhere.

Not very comforting. PLEASE address this issue, CJ!

    Andy
