I received two e-mails with just only a link to CJ sig up page with referring merchant id.

    This is the whole message:

This apparent spam ended up in my e-mail box which is not in CJ file. I don't know if CJ gives a commission to merchants for reffering new affiliates but I hope they take care of this person(s).

The e-mail address that sent this message is"

Which also shows up at this website:

Apparently sent from hosting service in UK:

I have received SPAM from CJ merchants begging us to join their program. It is only rarely though, and never more than once - which is of course, one too many times

On a related subject, I still have the problem with CJ emails when they want me to land at a certain page, for example Deactivated Advertisers, your friendly Tax Form etc. They dump me at a login page, and after signing on - at the Home page - USELESS. Their link even has my login email embedded in it. I think it is a browser issue (IE 5.5), but the folks at CJ help don't understand what I am saying at all (after three attempts: "Everything is working like it's supposed to"

    Just keep plugging on here...

Yeah, I'm more understanding when a merhant visits my site invite me to their program. LinkProfits guy/gals always do that to me.

But, this is outright spam, just sending a link to sign up to CJ, not even a merchant-branded sign up.

We've just saw how strict CJ is on affiliates who spam they should do the same to merchants who abuse.
