I just started their program a week or so ago and have sent them 415 targetted clicks so far with a big ZERO sales so far.

Looks like they have a decent EPC on CJ.

I guess others / you are doing really good with their program??

Not bad, but I'll never understand 2 month old invalid cc reversals...

6 sales out of 1200 clicks so far this month for me.

Well, I am up to 0 sales out of 476 clicks.

I might drop in and let you know when I finally get a sale

I generate a few sales each month at Patinball-online. I think Paintball items are a hard sell due to the high number of retailers (only a few have aff programs) I think paintballers do their homework before purchasing an item so a high click thru to no sales ratio should be expected.

Do a search on Google for web rings. Join some web rings only related to paintball and add your paintball site. Most web rings are free. I did this when I was promoting a paintball site I made a couple years ago for paintball-online and did pretty good in sales using just the paintball web ring marketing tactic and basic meta tag search engine marketing.

Has anyone compared paintball-online with paintballexspress (befree) or actionvillage or the general people who sell paintball stuff (ie fogdog, dick's etc?)

Does paintball-online still reverse a lot?

Thanks Brianboru for the web ring idea generally that seems good for any area in a way...

Now I get even more reversaly than before...

Havn't tried paintballexspress, but it might be worth a shot...

Can you say what reversal rate is? Is it only for the expensive items? LOL. Also, do they really take 2 months for reversals.I don't know if I can live with that degree of anxiety...

I don't like that 800 number on every page. I think it's a way to cheat affiliates...

Maybe I'll make a few pages and compare both...

Can you say what your epc is for them if it's not too personal?

I do not get too many reversals from Paintball-Online.

FYI, PaintballExpress is owned by Paintball-Online.

    Thanks DFL-

I notice that paintballexpress has a longer cookie (ie 60 days). Does that make a difference in sales? Also, is conversion similar between paintballexpress and paintball-online? Both say thousands of inventory but the inventory doesn't seem that big for either.

Can you comment on action village? I know a few people said they were dropped by them despite a few sales.

    OUCH

Javi, I assume that's a reversal.. That hurts.
I guess if paintballexpress is owned by same people as paintball-online it's the same story...

I second that OUCH and raise you one more OUCH! I had a reversal on a $1,299.99 sale today. Good timing since I was saying good things about them

Actually, I asked someone at cjsupport about this question and they said that they take international orders and that some are fraudulent. But why is it only the big ones?!?!?

DFLsports- I tried to send you a private message but don't think I did it right since somehow it connected to a forum. In any case, do you have any feedback on action village. Why is there epc so much higher ?

I think there could be a number of reasons that Action Village's EPC is higher, they sell skateboarding and some other items in addition to paintball. They are newer to CJ and those dissatisfyed with Paintball-Online probably gave them a try? My paintball section is always one of my top 5 sections but has a poor conversion rate.
