Yes that's right I'm starting to really love dmoz.
For the second time in a row they listed mine sites within 24 hrs of submision.
As for the traffic from the original site, dmoz related sites have been popping for 300 uniques per day not including the elgoogler.

I like Dmoz too but Zeal is pretty good as well. It gets you into Looksmart and MSN very quickly and the descriptions are way more descriptive. I like the way Dmoz gives your google ranking a boost and I also like the fact your site gets featured in whole lot of smaller search engines and directories.
What is it with you and dmoz Heyder? Do you bribe the editors?

I submitted to Zeal before and now I can't figure out how or where I did it. When I sign in, I still can't find the add url. Did they change things? Any Help?

Packy they had a major rehall.

quote:
Add a Site
How do I submit a site?
Find the appropriate category in the directory and click the "Add a Site Profile" link from the Manage Category screen. A short form will appear, and you can enter the URL of the site you want to add. Click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page and then add the title and description of the site, plus any additional comments you may have about the site.

Oops one more thing.
Some of the categories listed are commercial categories and therefore are not managed by zeal. They will say in light gray commercial on the upper left hand corner of the white part of the page.
That's the part that messes me up all the time trying to find a stinking link that's not always there.
Only on the zeal managed free/communist listings will you find the link for managing listings.

Heyder, Thanks for the information. It helped a lot , well almost anyways. WTF, I had to take a quiz and I think I failed it, rotflmao, Jeeezze. I got an 80 so I guess I'll have to take it again. Sheet it might be easier to just pay for the fricking listing. I'm still lmao.

I've had very good experiences with Zeal so far. All you have to do is to pass the quiz in order to become a member (it's cumulative though); you know the answers by memorization after enough tries. I've had my submissions accepted in under three days - thats a $299 value per listing! I went looking to see if I could find a catagory and realized (unless I'm wrong-lol)that OPD will list a MLM but not a shopping site!? Man, that's not fair

That stinks doesn't it? The thing is, just as much money can be made off of these so called noncomercial sites as comercial sites make.

Dmoz - Keeps rejecting my sites because they have affiliate links. What am I doing wrong? They just don't like me.
