Nice article SSanf. I heard they were laying off 400 workers but that is the first I heard of them going ppc.

Yahoo is going PPC, that is good news !
Hopefully, it will be affordable , and available to sites that are not currently in their index. I am just guessing, but I bet the initial deposit for advertisers will be HUGE.
Anyone hear any more about this , and when it's supposed to happen ?

"Now, however, sponsored matches are listed first at Yahoo, and they may or may not have anything to do with what you’re looking for. Type in “Osama bin Laden,” for instance, and if a sponsored match comes up, it is a link to “Topps Enduring Freedom Cards.”"
These must be OverSure listings they're talking about. That's the Deal Over's been crowing so loudly about...
As for the irrelevancy, it's TRUE--MSN's OverSure listings come up the same BS way (drawing LOTS of dud clicks) about half the time. Which only makes me madder at OverSure's SO-CALLED "relevancy standards"!
