How are they at delivering traffic for PPC advertisers ?

I signed up and gave them a few dollars, but I'm not sure if it's worth my time or money to add tons of listings . So far, "nothing" from the new search terms I have up with them .

Supposedly, they say they just signed a contract and partnered with Alta Vista - and that should be going into effect soon.

    Any comments about epilot ?

epilot, unless they have evolved used to pay people to view adds/click adds sort of like the awful, awful alladvantage.com, where you download an adbar or console to your desktop and view adds on it whilst you surf the web

i dont know if it still works that way but it always struck me that there was a fundamental flaw with this method of advertising, it seems to me that if you pay people to view adds that they are always going to be more interested in the getting paid part than viewing adds

epilot expected a certain % of clickthru on the adds, dont know the exact ammount (1% maybe) and the user is cut off for a time for exeeding this amount so you should get some clicks eventually but i would debate the quality of those clicks

IMO: <IMG src=http://www.abestweb.com/ubb/icons/icon13.gif> not my cup of tea

    lisa,

i just took a look at epilots page to see what search engines that they partner with, out of all of them i have recieved a total of 2 hits from mamma.com, zero from the rest

i thought altavista had a contract with overture.com to supply ppc listings, overture are dominating when it comes to providing ppc listings, i just cant see epilot getting a look in unless you are bidding on a really obscure keyword that no-one ever uses

ePilot owes us over $3,000 from well over a year ago...every effort to collect has been
    stonewalled.

    Okay, thanks !
    I guess that's all I need to hear !
I'll use up my deposit with them on some more popular search terms , to get done with them quicker .
