I finally broke down and made a sales page for the N.Y Times.

Dutifully sent BendOver $100 to get my account back online and place a few keywords for this page.

So what do I get back from some low level jerk -

Thank you for submitting your search listing request. Unfortunately, we were unable to process any of the search listings for the reasons explained below.

Guideline for Sites Featuring External Links
Under this revised guideline, content in the form of a text link, banner, or tile that directs users to another Web site is not eligible for search terms. We will only accept listings for search terms if the Web site provides substantial content that is clearly reflective of the search term. Additionally, the substantial content must be related to the overall subject matter of the WebSite.

Here's a link to the site they turned down.

Since I own 100 shares of BendOver, tomorrow morning I am going to be on the phone to the CEO and start a war.

These actions are beyond stupid and are costing shareholders huge amounts of money.

Maybe a shareholder lawsuit which costs about $300 to draw up and file will shake them up big time and a PR piece about it to
my friends in the financial publishing arena
will help put a stop to this moronic policy they have begun.

Time to go to the mattresses.

Yes, it is official now - Overture is harder to get into than Yahoo!

    Good Riddance to the Fudgers!

$10K wasted on CJ Traffic ... and all I got was a pack of post-its?

Professor, this is the first time I find it in my heart to wish you well with a lawsuit!

If they denied that page for terms such as "new york times" or "new york times subscription" there are a lot of other listings they'll have to remove for those terms. There will be no bidded listings left after they do that!

On another note, if you look at Overture's results for "new york times subscription" you can sure see where some of the bidders aren't paying attention to the big gaps!
