Has anyone had any experience with PrimaRewards? They have auctions on EBay for 10,000 hits for about $30. The hits come from people on their website trying to earn points by looking at websites for a certain period of time. Does any one know if this is worth the time? Thanks

    Maria,

Stay away .... Far, far away! Incentivized traffic is pure malarky and will not result in anything!

I would spruce up the site before you advertise it and then try newsletter advertising (50K real subscribers for $30).

I have no direct experience with PrimaRewards, but the folks behind it are the same ones who ran the now-defunct search engine called Zcoolweb.

I still had credit in my account when Zcoolweb ceased operations. If there were any refunds to advertisers I never heard about it.

That doesn't directly answer your question but it might be relevant if you're trying to decide whether to do business with them.

At the risk of going 0 for 3 on posts (I swear I use deodorant! ), what type of response rate is usual on newsletter and banner ads? Thanks in advance.

    Cheers,

    Kipster,

Swing and a HIT! Your now batting .333

Banner ads and text links all have a varied CTR look at the ads in the Banner Ad Exchange . It is all dependant on what art you use or which words (AD COPY, AD COPY, AD COPY).

    ----------

    wly,

Double opt-in from various sites on the net.
