I noticed a referral from Google... my index page was dated today! wow! I don't have a "fresh" next to my sites description(?)

no update to the index, but my site is getting "refreshed" - I'm tickled. Has anyone noticed the same with their listings?

    I noticed too.

I think they got rid of the word "Fresh!" a few weeks ago and just use the date to indicate that a site has been updated. I've updated my index page about 5 times this month and had the date appear next to my site about 4 times (including today) so far this month.

I wonder how the update will go this month?

Out of curiousity, where do you see the date? I have heard people keep talking about the date and fresh but I'll be damned if I can find it.

    GameBoy,

Follow this link http://google.com/search?hl=en&q=stephen+king at the time I searched the third result down had this under the listing: "www.horrorking.com/ - 10k - 16 Feb 2002 - Cached - Similar pages". The date thing appears to be a hit and miss thing. "Fresh" was taken out almost as soon as it was put in, so you won't see that unless, Google decides to put it back in the future.

Brian, thanks! <IMG src=http://www.abestweb.com/ubb/icons/icon14.gif> For some reason I have never noticed the dates on some of them.
