Another Google mystery: While checking out the Google dance, I discovered that one of my pages is nowhere to be found when SafeSearch is turned on. However, with SafeSearch off, it's #1 for its main target phrase. Nothing on the page was intended to be naughty, but some word or combination is triggering the filters.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? What is Google filtering for besides obvious four-letter words, etc.?

I just looked at their description, it says "pornography and explicit sexual content"!

I would guess that it's misinterpreting some word on your site (by not accounting for the context), or a glitch...

BTW, Congrats in getting back in!

Yep. it happened once on me...i took the 'word' out and it got back in.....

Also, sometimes your site can be in the 1st and 2nd page because someone set the number of sites (default = 10) a page can display in their preferences.

The only thing that I'm still confused is, sometime my site is listed #1, then sometime it's gone....then I re-submit my site...then couple days's showing up...but the next's gone again.......

How many times do I have to re-submit???

It's like someone is playing around w/ me.
(maybe there is someone ... hmmmmm.... )
