I haven't seen www.google.com offline today (flip-flopping on the indices, yes), but I know that adwords has been coming and going (online and offline) ever since the dance started.

Even my server logs show no hits for a half hour at a time ... here and there since yesterday. When I go to check www.google.com at these times ... I get the Explorer "page not available error?

Come on ... It can't just be me

Come on ... If you have ANY kind of traffic from Google ... You will have huge holes in your server logs

Surely this can't be just happening to me

I hate to tell you, but no gaps showed up on the site I checked (the busiest one).

All I can suspect for you is some local DNS screwup

I don't doubt that something's happening with your access, but just what it could be I don't know!

Whenever it doesn't work, try using the ip address, 216.239.37.100, and see if that works.

My hunch is that there are some problems with some Cisco routers. I didn't see these posts or I would have added this sooner. This is why I suspect there are router problems...

I could not access Google from my office fifteen miles away. I thought it was just my job's network. When I got home, Google ran fine. I received a call later from a friend who lives close to where I work. Google was down there at the exact time it was still working here.

    Crazy?
