I usually get a steady stream of transactions, but it looks as it someone's disconnected the cable between the tracking machines and the reporting system. There's been a few OLD transactions sneak through in the last hour and a half, but nothing new since then.

    Anyone else noticing a problem?

    My Last txn = 5-Oct-2003, 17:06:29 PDT.
Don't know there is a reporting delay, or just no one has bought a thing...

Yep, something is up (or down would be more accurate) for some of us. My last CJ transacation was at 15:29 CJ time.

Evedently there are many of us on a CJ server that is not working as it should be.

But far be it for any of us to prove it to the folks at CJ.

i just had a trans report - 4 hr delay noted. Typical afterupgrade style reporting, guess it will take a few days to sort itself out as always.

Some more transactions have come in, but the event date is just after midnight. Just after midnight of the 5th, that is...

I *wondered* if that 2-hour upgrade window was too optimistic!

Jeeeze, i'm lucky if I can sqeeze a sale out of CJ for every 500 clicks. I still never understood why if I use the same merchant at CJ through another company, they convert in about a third of the click throughs as when using them with CJ. Makes me wonder how many of their links really are being hijacked, blocked or whatever. Over 700 clicks today with one sale. Discusting!!!

You have to be careful how the clicks are counted. For example, Performics only counts unique clicks over a 24 hour period. CJ counts raw clicks. This would give you the appearance that they are converting better but this may not actually be the case.

    Food for thought.

I got a frigging reversal from Colorado Pen - 16 bucks and some change gone. I have made about four or five bucks in the last three days (CJ network). I have made more money with Adsense in the last two days than I have with CJ in the last four.

I think I will start making plain text content pages, and optimize them for Adsense.

I agree that is a good point. One of the merchants I am talking about is with CJ and with Shareasale. I am kind of doing an experiment as to see how things go. I'm niot sure how SAS tracks clicks but here is what I show for this month so far. Both with similar text and image links.

    Merchant X Monthly Stats

    SAS stats --- 7313 Hits -- 32 Sales -- Converts 1 in 228 click throughs

Same Merchants X -- Similar links

    CJ stats --- 2341 Hits -- 3 sales -- Converts 1 in 780 click throughs

    Merchant X - Todays Stats

    SAS -- 1250 Clicks = 7 sales = 1 sale in 178

    CJ -- 354 Clicks = Zero sales

Whats it all mean? Beats me.

All I know is that my stats for the last 2 days with CJ merchants combined is 1 sale in 1315 clicks and since the upgrade its something like 2 sales in over 3000 clicks. Whats this all mean??? Again, damned if I know. Anyways, thanks for responding Todd, your responses are appreciated

Here is a solid fact for you and I will name the merchant, Abyss Distribution & AzureGreen. They recently left CJ and went to SAS instead. During the last 44 days at CJ they generated $244.09 for me (if I have counted the days on the calendar right I might be off by one). During the first 44 days at SAS they have generated $441.50 for me. I HAVE NOT CHANGED THE SITE IN ANY WAY WHAT-SO-EVER! All I changed was the links from CJ to SAS. OK, maybe it is seasonal or something. I don't know. But, the bottom line is what I have stated and my products aren't all that seasonal.

    Can anybody explain this?

Mr.Merchant, if you do business in any way what-so-ever with parasites, your products will not be sold on my sites!!

LISTEN! CJ don't give no whistles no more! I can hear the music of another piper!

So, there were indeed some delays in reporting that CJ was not aware of or not telling us about.
