It sounds like they are so desperate to die that they are giving away money, ha ha!

Seriously--I think it must be some glitch.

Unless they picked up my thought that they should pay a "frustration fee" to everyone still willing to deal with them ...

Lmao Leader, they should after what they put me through.

Here is what is going on over there. They had some problems with people adding money to their accnts. If you clicked to add the amnt you selected you would get an error msg saying the transaction couldn't go through do to a problem. Try again later. Well to make a long story short. The money was going in. So anyone stupid enough to keep trying(Ummm, Like Me! ) acyually was really adding all that money to thier acnt. So if you wanted to add say $500.00 and kept getting the try again later error msg(which we all know later means as soon as we can get back to the add funds page and try again)and kept trying to add lots of times your credit card might have been charged $20,000. I was lucky kind of. I was just gonna add about $30.00 just to help with some of the withdrwal pains I was having. i just need a small quik fix from a ppce.

Anyways, I get an email on the 5/21 explaining what happened. See below:

We would like to apologize for the recent technical difficulties you experienced with the DirecTraffic Center®.

These difficulties impacted advertisers using a credit card to add funds to their account(s) over the past weekend. The issue caused your credit card to be charged at that time, but the amount was not reflected in your Overture account balance.

We have corrected this error and will be issuing credits to advertisers that attempted to add funds to their account(s), but did not have the amount appear, between Saturday, May 18th and the morning of Monday, May 20th.

Then on 5/22 I got another email saying:

We have issued a credit to your credit card in the amount of $1,535.00. This credit has been issued as a result of a recent DirecTraffic Center® technical error, which caused your credit card to be charged without the amount appearing in your Overture account balance. The issue occurred between Saturday, May 18th and the morning of Monday, May 20th.

We have sent your credit back to the issuing credit card company as of today. Please note that this credit will appear when your issuing credit card company posts it back to your credit card account.

Please accept our apologies for this error and any inconvenience we've caused you.

    Sincerely,

    Your Partners at Overture

Ok all is cool! I didn't think I clicked all that many timed to deserve that much of a credit but I was kind of thinking like Leader. Hmmmmm, frustration pay. COOL-AWESOME Hooo, la la la la la Hooo la la la la la la. The last part is suppose to be the victory song. You might of heard it before at a college game. Ok, maybe not. Anyways, now today I get another letter stating:

    Dear OvertureT Advertiser:

As you know, we experienced some technical difficulties over the weekend, which resulted in your credit card(s) being charged when trying to add funds, yet those added funds were not reflected in your Overture account. As a result, we attempted to issue a correcting credit to your credit card(s).

During the crediting process, another technical error occurred and the amount credited back to your credit card(s) was incorrect.

We have now resolved this issue and the following is a summary of your credit card transactions as a result of these technical difficulties and our attempts to correct them:

We charged your credit card(s) 3 times, which resulted in a total charge of $95.00.

We incorrectly credited your credit card(s) 3 times, which resulted in a total credit of $1,535.00.

To properly offset the above transactions, we have now adjusted your account 3 times, which resulted in a total debit or credit to your credit card(s) in the amount of $1,440.00.

As a result of this final transaction, the net effect is zero ($0) charged to your credit card account(s) for the above set of transactions.

The correcting credit or debit has been issued to your credit card company. Please note that this credit or debit will appear when your issuing credit card company posts it to your credit card account(s).

Please accept our apologies, along with a $25 Overture account credit for the inconvenience we've caused you. This credit has been added to your Overture account and will have no impact on your credit card account(s).

Again, please accept our apologies for this error.

    Sincerely,

    Your Partners at Overture
I want my frustration and stress pay back.

I can't wait to see what the credit card statement is gonna look like. But anyways I wouldn't spend that $500.00 right away.

Anyone get paid from the Overture affiliate program for last quarter yet?

Seems close to $300 sort of disappeared in the black hole of BeScrewed.
