I have a site that is not SE optimized mainly used on PPC for promo's of ebooks and stuff, and now I find for the last month or so Inktomi's spider is coming around every 48 hours, if I updated these pages and optimized them properly does that mean I have a shot of being in ink for free for my keywords I find that pertain to my site? TIA

I wasn't using PPC at the time, but I would see Inktomi Slurp on my site every day or two. Still, I never had any measurable traffic from Inkotmi-powered sites until I signed up for their paid service.

Inktomi is worth the money. I wish I'd skipped Lycos and spent that money on Ink as well.
