    Hi,
we discussed this in another thread here, but I have an additional question.
I read more and more that SE submission should take place 2 times a week, or every 2-3 days.
Most say that submission once a month is enough. I experienced the following: When I submit to SE I get more chlickthroiughs and more sales some days after. And when I submit moer frequently this appears also. What dos this mean? Though submitting more often?

    Blues,
if there is a spider inflation then that means that spider visit your site more than once a month. If that happens, it can not be wrong to submit the sites every week or even every 3rd day. If the spiders do it why not we? And what about that specific revisit-tag. I often see it with the " big boys" (metaname="revisit" content="10 days")?

We submitted once about 3 years ago, and maybe once since then. Our sites are in all the major engines.

    Jonny,

Don't waste your time submitting to search engines unless you are paying them. Certainly don't submit every 3 days or once a week or whatever you were suggesting - you are sure to piss them off. And that revisit tag does nothing.

As you know, I do SEO for a living and I haven't submitted a site in years. Because of the amount of spam that the SEs receive, submission hasn't been a viable method for getting into a search engine for quite some time. Giving them money seems to work though.
