Just wondering whether I need to submit all pages that I have changed to get them changed in the index of Google.

Does google automatically check every page in its index for changes, or only check those that are re-submitted?

Google is pretty good at recognizing changes to pages in its index, so if you're editing content, you can be confident that Google will notice and take your updates into account within a few weeks. The same is true for new pages. Google will find them as long as they're linked from one or more pages that Google already knows about.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I was fairly sure Google did do this (watching some of my position changes after editing, but just wanted to make sure changes were not solely due to changes ranking algorithms.
