Just wondering if anyone has any tips to get spidered more often? The last time my site was spidered was 6/8. Seems a long time and I update everyday. I'd appreciate any tips you guys have.

    Thanks in Advance!

Sorry to sound flippant, but paying them money for paid inclusion works. With Google, the more links in to your site, the more chance they will come around more often, if they find fresh content each time then you will get added to the fresh list and Googlebot will come visit very often, particularly if you leave out the milk and cookies.

I have a small link on one of my high ranking site's front page. It says "Witchcraft stores". (not "links"!) It is set up kind of like a table contents and would actually help someone trying to find their way around. Every time I add a new page to the mix, I put a link to it on that page. That way the page I want to be seen is only the third level deep. It usually gets found and the fact that it comes from a highly listed site in the same category helps, I think.

As far as Google goes, listen to MarkyMark.

Read the threads in the "Building Site Traffic" forum here on ABW.

    http://searchengineposition.com

Searchenginepostion.com has very good articles about all the major search engines so you can learn more about how each one works.

Inktomi will spider and re-index your page every 48 hours. Pay the 39 bucks; it will be the best investment you'll ever make, I promise.

    [edit for url fix]

It's a matter of personal taste.

    I use positiontech.com

They give a price break on additional url's, while some others don't.

Just thought it well to mention that Ink will not spider beyond the PFI pages. ie. will not follow links from those pages.
