I have a revenue page that consistently does well on Google for one of its seach terms. However, the main search term (or most popular, according to requests) for this topic has the page ranked much lower.

I want to improve the ranking for the one seach term, without messing up the current ranking for the other.

If I start adding more key words for the search term I have a lower rank in, will it dilute the other search terms on the page?

Get more external links to your page with your search term in the link-text, and if possible, somewhere in the paragraph around the link. And even better, have the links on pages related to your search term.

That will teach your competitor who owns that search term!
