What is the difference between www.google.com and yahoo.google.com? I get about an equal amount of hits from each of them. Is yahoo.google.com the google link at the bottom of the yahoo pages?

The Yahoo version is what you get when Yahoo can't find what you're looking for in the directory (i.e. often) and then it goes and queries Google. (Sometimes nicknamed Yahoogle )

You should find that keyword rankings are about the same for both, and they both update more-or-less at the same time.
