Nope. Definately not the update.

You can tell when google updates by checking incoming links on all 3 servers. If they have different results then the update is on...

Currently they are all showing the same.

yes. Another common case of premature egooglation.

I'd guess another 5-7 days yet. <IMG src=http://www.abestweb.com/ubb/icons/icon3.gif>

you can check all googles at once, just type in keyword and see all 3 googles on 1 screen with the search results.

Yep, happens all month. First time I posted a false alarm on another board, some wise lady told me this:

"Google don't just sit there twiddling their thumbs between updates, they do stuff!"

I wouldn't go breaking out the bubbly just yet, this could all change

Let's all hope the Update comes soon, I'm dying to see how a couple of new sites rank, the suspense is killing me!

Strange as it may seem, I'd prefer the Update to be a litlle further off...

I have my first affilliate project about to make it's Google debut which is very exciting, but I need to cram it full of new content before the next major crawl. Which if history is any judge, will be about a week after the crawl.

Also, one more affiliate project waiting to be indexed

Problem is that I still gotta earn money so I'm up to my eyes in some lame database work for joe punter

Hi
Well Google has picked up my new site description and changed it on all three servers but I wonder if it will stay that way. They do have a date of the 18th of August on them so that was just after I uploaded a few new pages.

The only thing is that Google does not list any of my other pages yet. I did move over to a dedicated provider so that I had no redirections but seems the bots are not crawling my site enough. Any ideas pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee?

regards John

Eventually it should return to normal. When I moved my sites to my server, there was a month or so that Google got a bit confused, but then things returned to normal.

Sorry,

I have had it.

Johnniebry,

Credit goes to hershey for the first mention of FM-Transmitter in Google Thread followed by an update by Tom in www 1,2,3

but now, the subject is your post-o-matic:
Google Dance

Google Too

Johnniebry,

Google does what Google does. PLEASE stop milking posts off of a monthly phenomenon.

I apologise; I don't even know you. Please don't presume I think myself perfect or something...far from it.

Just stop being the Google Crier, for Crissake

Doc

Everyone may crucify me now....

lol, now Doc, I think you've been holding on to that message for... how long ago was the last google update?

I think it's a good idea to post the 3-pronged test-tool whenever there is a pre-mature egooglation... and johnnie worked it in quite nicely.

Which is not the same as saying I don't understand your post.

Hey now, grumpy gus, if you aren't interested, don't read the thread. Let the rest of us enjoy the monthly phenomena of egooglation.

It is of interest to a lot of folks even if it does bore you.

I don't like football so I don't watch it. See what an easy solution that is?

Recommend that you try similar.

But it's NOT Googling yet. Every month we have to go through a week of thread after thread after thread after thread of premature egoogleation. I'm sorry but one week of PMS a month is enough without having to also put up with PMEG!

ner, whats up doc?

Hey Ceders, I'm a HUGE red dwarf fan. Your sig comes from the episode called "quarantine". We must get together and have a good buff about dwarf sometime. I think you may enjoy sadgeezer.com, they have a red dwarf personality test that was quite amusing for me

It's those damn singing potatoes - they must be dancing too. People are confusing them with Googlestiltskin. I will have to tell Mr. Potatohead that if he doesn't keep his spudkins under control I will report him to the Potato Police!

lol, I found Red Dwarf BECAUSE of the quote... saw someone had it as their sigline and went hunting for the origin... only way to see the show was to buy VHS at Amazon. Holly has some of the best lines I've ever heard.

I don't have QUARANTINE, but at least I know which one to buy next, thanks cp. And I'll definitely check out sadgeezer.com.

Red Dwarf is the funniest thing to come out of Britain (the final series was pretty lame though). All Rimmer had to do was open his mouth and I'd laugh my booty off.

I think there are a few pages that do the same thing. But on to more important matters:

Red Dwarf Any one remember "Dwane Dibbly"?

Cat: "I've got teeth that druids could use as a place of worship!"

Truely the best comedy to come out of Britain in a very long time. Why it never made it to BBC1 is beyond me. The controllers must have been on drugs to keep it locked up like that...
