I asked this question just around the same time that this board was being updated so I will try and raise it again.

I was using a redirection service but moved my site onto a dedicate host last month. Google is still saying that I use frames etc. This seems to also use the site description from DMOZ.

Glasgow Private Hire/Taxi - Serving the City of Glasgow and ...
This page uses frames, but your browser doesn't support them.
Description: Provides Company profile, contact details, operations procedures, job opportunities and local information.
    Category: Regional > Europe > United Kingdom > Scotland > Glasgow, City of > Transport - 2k - 4 Sep 2002 - Cached - Similar pages

I have visited Google website and sent the helpteam a message but I have still not had a reply about this problem.

I wonder if anyone has any ideas on how I could get this sorted out. DMOZ will not change my entry (they dont even bother replying)(thanks to others for checking).

Anyway, due to these probelms none of my other pages are being listed in Google and I really need to start getting some of them listed so that I can push the business forward.

Well I hope that some of you can help out, it would be appreciated.

    regards John

I'm not sure you can actually DO anything except remove pages, make changes, which you have already done, and simply wait for Google to reindex your site with the new info.

I could be wrong, and I'd love to hear if I am.

Dmoz won't change your entry - that description is fine (i am presuming the title is Glasgow Taxi Hire, right ?) according to their submission terms. The reference to 'this page uses frames' comes, as you know, from Google.

You don't need to do anything - when Google comes around this month it will pick up the new pages just like you want them to, as AffiliateMakeover says.

    HI Markymark,

Well I hope it does sort itself out this time round. I do get a lot of hits and business from the internet side of things has certainly picked up.

As for DMOZ, well its an on going thing I have with them.

Ah such is life on this thing we call the world wide web.

I did manage to get a new table of contents loaded as well so with any luck the next update should clean a lot of stuff up for me with any luck.

    regards John

Google should get fixed on the next update. As for DMOZ.. ahhh well, keep trying. They're still editorless in that cat at the moment I think. - geeky stuff for umm geeks.
