I switching over one of my sites and am notifying people i've done link exhanges with about the new address. The question is about keyword in text link. I read that when you want people to link to your site, you should try to have the keyword in the text link. Example in stead of Mysite.com it should be <A HREF='mysite.com">KeywordGoesHere
I was just wondering if this works better, peoples opinion. There have been cases where Bloggers (people who have those diary type sites from blogspot) have done Google Bombing in the past where they used this technique and in 1 instance did this What is more evil that Bill Gates? So when people typed the question in the search engine the microsoft site came in first. So basically the question is are keywords in the text link better that your site name in the text link.

Want to know how to make people want to link to your site?????? Want those links to be quality links???? Want people to link without you asking them too??

Build a great site.

It's that simple.

I was asking more about search engine position for keywords you are targeting. As in the example i gave above.
